Our Pancake Bonanza is back — and this year, it’s about something bigger than pancakes.

Yes, there will be freshly made pancakes, great coffee and live music. But at its heart, this is a community fundraiser supporting the next stage of our dairy development at Gullivers.

Why We’re Fundraising

This year, Pancake Bonanza is raising funds towards a new, larger milk pasteuriser for Gullivers Farm.

As our dairy grows, our current equipment limits how much milk we can safely process each day. A larger pasteuriser will allow us to increase production capacity, improve efficiency and strengthen the sustainability of our dairy social enterprise.

But most importantly — it will create more opportunities for the adults with varying support needs who train and work alongside us.

How the New Pasteuriser Supports Skills & Development

At Gullivers, our dairy is not just about milk. It is a hands-on learning environment where people develop real, transferable skills.

A new pasteuriser will allow us to:

Increase structured training opportunities in dairy production
Provide meaningful work-based learning in food hygiene and processing
Develop confidence through responsibility and routine
Expand employment pathways within our growing dairy operation
Support progression from supported learning into paid roles

Dairy work teaches precision, hygiene standards, teamwork, time management and quality control — all within a supportive and inclusive environment.
