Hello and welcome to Little Elves + Fairies Woodland Nursery and Forest School – a place where little ones are free to wander, wonder, and grow at their own pace, surrounded by the magic of nature.
Here, childhood is cherished. Whether you’re just starting to explore our setting or getting ready for your first day, you’ll find everything you need to know – from how we work, to funding and fees, to what to pack for your child’s woodland adventure.
DAYS &
TIMES
Little Elves + Fairies is open Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Each full-day session is thoughtfully designed to follow a calm, nature-led rhythm, allowing children the time and space they need to settle, explore, and flourish at their own pace.
From morning circles to woodland adventures, shared meals to quiet rest, the day flows gently with the seasons – creating a nurturing environment where imagination, curiosity, and confidence can grow.
FEES &
FUNDING
Nursery Fees
Sessions at Little Elves + Fairies Woodland Nursery run from 8.30-4.30pm and cost £64 for the full day, £8 per hour. This price includes a selection of seasonal and organic meals and snacks throughout the day.
A £50 registration fee secures your child’s place at the nursery. We will deduct this fee from your first invoice.
Early pick-up is available, please speak to a member of the team, but will still be charged at the normal rate.
Funding + payments
Childcare fees are payable by the first of the month. Invoices will be sent from our accounts team via email for you to pay online. We accept childcare vouchers and tax-free childcare payments.
We offer Universal Funding of 15 hours (3- and 4-year-olds and eligible 2-year-olds).
Places are available for those eligible for 30 hours of funding, subject to availability. Please speak with the team to find out more.
HOW TO
APPLY
Choosing a childcare setting is a big decision, so we encourage all our prospective families to visit our beautiful nursery and explore it for themselves. While here, you will have the opportunity to chat with the team and ask any questions.
WHAT TO PACK
We will be outside having fun, exploring, and learning each day, so it’s really important they are dressed in the appropriate clothing suitable for messy play.
• Long-sleeved top
• Layers, particularly when it’s colder
• Jumper during the colder months
• Base layers for winter
• Long trousers or leggings (tucked into socks to prevent ticks)
• Wellies for winter (with room for a thin pair of socks and a pair of thick socks on top)
• Sturdy shoes for drier weather
• Waterproof gloves or mittens during colder months
