Easter Family Fun Day at Gullivers Farm

Gullivers Farm will be opening its gates this April for a relaxed Easter Family Fun Day, inviting the local community to spend a few hours enjoying the farm, fresh air, and simple moments together.

Taking place on Saturday 4 April from 11am – 3pm, this free-entry event is designed to be welcoming and easy-going, offering families the chance to explore the farm, enjoy activities, and spend time outdoors as spring begins to arrive.

Whether you come for an hour or stay for the afternoon, the day is about creating space for people to gather, connect, and enjoy the surroundings that so many of us share.

What to Expect on the Day

There will be plenty happening across the farm throughout the afternoon, with activities for children, families, and anyone who simply enjoys being on a working farm.

Visitors will be able to enjoy:

Tractor rides around the farm

A chance to see parts of the land from the tractor and experience a little of farm life.

An Easter scavenger hunt

Children can explore the farm and follow clues around the site in a relaxed Easter activity.

Live music

Music throughout the afternoon will help create a welcoming atmosphere for families spending time on the farm.

Pizza and food available

Food will be available to purchase during the event, including freshly prepared pizza and other options from the farm.

Open space to explore

Families are encouraged to take their time, wander around, and enjoy the simple experience of being on the farm.

There is no booking required, so people can simply arrive, take their time and enjoy the afternoon at their own pace.

Supporting the Future of Our Dairy

Alongside the activities, this year’s Easter Family Fun Day will also help support an important next step for the farm.

We are currently fundraising towards a new milk pasteuriser, which will allow us to process more of the biodynamic milk produced by our dairy cows here on the farm.

Over the past few years, the dairy has become an important part of what we do. The milk is produced on the land, cared for by our farm team and the adults with varying support needs who work alongside them, and then shared with the local community through the farm shop.

A new pasteuriser would allow us to:

Process more of our own milk on site
Reduce waste and improve efficiency in production
Increase the availability of local milk for the community
Create more meaningful training opportunities for the people we support on the farm

Events like the Easter Family Fun Day help bring the community together while also supporting the continued growth of the farm and the opportunities it creates.
