STURTS COMMUNITY TRUST
As part of Sturts Community Trust, Gullivers Enterprises provides meaningful work, training, and day opportunities alongside adults with varying support needs. Volunteers play a vital role in helping this work happen, whether supporting day-to-day activities across the farm and shop or helping to deliver our community events.
We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds, skills, and experience levels. Whether you are able to offer a few hours occasionally or are looking for a more regular commitment, there are opportunities to get involved.

gullivers social enterprise
Volunteers support the day-to-day running of our social enterprise, working alongside our team and the people we support in a practical and inclusive environment. Opportunities include:
Market Garden
Supporting the growing, harvesting, and care of seasonal produce
Farm and Animal Care
Assisting with farm routines and animal welfare
Farm Shop and Deli Kitchen
Customer service, food preparation, and retail support
Day Opportunities
Encouraging confidence, routine, and skill development through shared work
These roles are well suited to those interested in community work, food, farming, sustainability, or inclusive working environments.

We also rely on volunteers to help deliver our programme of community events throughout the year. These include:

Event volunteering may involve welcoming visitors, stewarding, supporting activities, assisting with set-up and pack-down, or helping behind the scenes.

As many of our roles involve working alongside vulnerable adults, volunteers are required to complete an application form and may be asked to undertake a DBS check depending on the role.
We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment. Having a criminal record does not automatically exclude someone from volunteering; all applications are considered on an individual basis.
