If you’ve ever visited Gullivers Farm Shop, chances are you’ve already met Sabrina.

She’ll be the first to greet you with a huge smile, a story to tell, and a latte in hand — and if you’re lucky, she might even introduce herself as “the sales lady.”

Sabrina lives with cerebral palsy, but that’s not the headline of her story.

The real story is this: she is a valued member of our team, a growing talent in the world of customer experience and social media, and a powerful reminder of what happens when people are given the chance to shine.

A Natural Connector

One of Sabrina’s greatest strengths is her ability to make meaningful connections.

Many customers pop in not just for coffee or groceries, but simply for Sabrina.

It’s not unusual for her to sit with someone for half an hour, chatting, listening, laughing — creating the kind of warm, human moments that make community feel like community.

She brings comfort to those who might be lonely, reassurance to those who just need a friendly face, and joy to those who come in hoping she’s on shift.

Her presence has become part of the heartbeat of the shop.

Building Skills & Finding Her Voice

Over the past year, Sabrina has grown enormously in confidence and skill.

From mastering customer service to learning how to present food and drinks, she has become someone our team — and our customers — rely on.

(And yes… if she happens to spill a drink now and then, you’ll get a very sweet, very sincere, “Sorry! that happens sometimes” — usually followed by her giggling at herself. It’s part of her charm.)

The Self-Proclaimed “Social Media Queen”

More recently, Sabrina has stepped into a brand-new role:

supporting our social media alongside Jess.

And she LOVES it.

If you’ve seen any of our recent videos or fun behind-the-scenes clips, there’s a good chance Sabrina had something to do with them. She calls herself the “social media queen,” and honestly — she’s earning the title.

Her favourite part?

“When people come into the shop to tell me they laughed at my videos. I like making people smile.”
