Pumpkin

season is here!

Pumpkin season is here, and we’re opening up our fields for families to enjoy the magic of autumn at Gullivers Farm.

11th - 29th October

PICK YOUR OWN

Pumpkin

From the moment you step into our pumpkin fields, you’ll be surrounded by the colours of autumn. Rows of pumpkins in all shapes and sizes are waiting to be discovered – perfect for carving, decorating, or cooking up something seasonal. Whether you’re after a giant pumpkin to make a statement or a smaller one for little hands to carry home, there’s something for everyone.

But pumpkin picking is just the start of the fun. Families can enjoy a full day out at Gullivers, with plenty to see and do.

Pumpkin FEST

11-12 & 18-19 OCTOBER

Alongside pumpkin picking, you’ll find so much more to enjoy. Children can tuck into tasty meals with our Kids Eat for £1 offer, and families can wander our nature trail, discovering the sights and sounds of the farm as the leaves turn golden.  There’ll be craft activities to spark creativity, games to keep everyone smiling, and plenty of family fun to fill the day. Live music will bring the farm to life, and our food and drink stalls will keep you cosy and fuelled as you explore.

But Pumpkin Fest is about more than just pumpkins, it’s about people. Every visit helps support our social enterprise and charity work, creating opportunities for adults with varying support needs. Here at Gullivers, farming is more than food, it’s a place for learning, growing confidence, and being part of something meaningful. By joining us, you’re helping to nurture a community where everyone has a role to play.

So wrap up warm, grab your wellies, bring the whole family, and make a day of it at Gullivers Farm. Together we’ll celebrate the best of autumn – with pumpkins, play and plenty of heart.

to know

Bring wellies!

The pumpkins are in the field, and there might be wet weather, so expect mud. Please wear suitable footwear.

What’s on and when

The weekends of 11-12 and 18-19 October will feature PYO Pumpkins, pumpkin carving and refreshments, alongside face-painting, tractor rides and creative play in the craft tent. During the weekdays (closed Monday) of half-term we’ll be hosting pumpkin picking, pumpkin carving and light refreshments.

Parking

Due to car park restrictions, parking for PYO Pumpkins will be at Gullivers Farm, Shop and Kitchen. There is a short walk (about 600m to neighbouring Sturts Farm). We have lots of signposts leading the way. There is a crossing at Newman’s Lane, so please be mindful of this and keep children close by at all times.

Food + drink

Our trusty Gullivers trailer will be serving up hot and cold drinks, seasonal cakes, treats and soup near to the Pumpkin field. For a wider selection of hot, cold and deli  food (including £1 meals for kids, when purchased with an adult’s meal), head to the nearby Gullivers Farm, Shop and Kitchen.

safety

When you come to the farm, it’s really important to follow the signs and guidelines around the farm. Please ensure you stay in designated areas. If you have children with you, please keep an eye on them to ensure they are safe and respectful of the farm’s property. It will be muddy and uneven under foot at times, so it’s a good idea to wear appropriate footwear such as boots or wellies for walking in fields. Thanks so much for your co-operation.
