This is a varied position, and the work offered will depend on the needs of the business, as well as your training and experience. 

Duties may include: 

• Welcoming and serving customers 

• Operating the till and handling payments 

• Replenishing stock and keeping displays well presented 

• Taking café orders and serving food and drinks 

• Preparing hot and cold drinks as a barista 

• Supporting food preparation in the kitchen 

• Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment 

• Keeping work areas clean, safe and organised 

• Helping the wider team during busy periods 
  

You may support one or more areas and will only undertake duties for which you have received the appropriate training.
